The £100m acquisition has not been able to rekindle his incredible goalscoring feat from his Real Madrid days since arriving in Turin, but manager Massimiliano Allegri believes today is the day for Ronaldo to break his duck after insisting “he will score” against Sassuolo. Ronaldo should at least head into the game fresh as he was left out of the Portugal squad during the international break in order to focus on his new club, having shown signs of fatigue after his World Cup commitments.
But the Modena-based Sassuolo are one of the surprise packages in Italy this season, as they head to the Allianz Stadium unbeaten this season following wins over Genoa and Inter Milan and a 2-2 draw with Cagliari.

Juventus have had a great start to the season despite not yet clicking in key areas but three wins from three sees them secure at the top of the table.

Former Liverpool man, Emre Can, who signed on a free this summer looks set to make his first start. Can has been replacing Miralem Pjanic and it looks like Pjanic is going to get a rest after being out on international duty with Can stepping in for Juve’s No. 5 in the starting lineup.

This is a big deal as there’s an expectation that he will become a regular starter sooner rather than later.
And here is confirmation of that starting XI place for Emre Can:
Who will they be facing? I here you ask, never fear for we also have the Sassuolo starting line up
Sassuolo are undefeated this season as well, slaying Inter Milan 1-0 in the first week before scoring 3 goals in six minutes to sink Genoa 5-3 just before the International break.

They face a tough 90 minutes away from home today but what do Roberto De Zerdi's men have in store for us?
He was one of my favourite players to watch at the World Cup this summer but Cuadrado starts on the bench for Juve, here's hoping he can make an impact if he gets a chance today
