The £100m acquisition has not been able to rekindle his incredible goalscoring feat from his Real Madrid days since arriving in Turin, but manager Massimiliano Allegri believes today is the day for Ronaldo to break his duck after insisting “he will score” against Sassuolo. Ronaldo should at least head into the game fresh as he was left out of the Portugal squad during the international break in order to focus on his new club, having shown signs of fatigue after his World Cup commitments.

Juventus have had a great start to the season despite not yet clicking in key areas but three wins from three sees them secure at the top of the table.
Former Liverpool man, Emre Can, who signed on a free this summer looks set to make his first start. Can has been replacing Miralem Pjanic and it looks like Pjanic is going to get a rest after being out on international duty with Can stepping in for Juve’s No. 5 in the starting lineup.
This is a big deal as there’s an expectation that he will become a regular starter sooner rather than later.
